For the third consecutive year, we’re happy to announce that we’ve been ranked among the largest staffing firms in the United States by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA)! The annual list was recently updated for 2022, offering a new analysis of the 225 largest staffing companies in the United States in the past year, across a spectrum of different industries.
More than a ranking of revenue, the SIA list incorporates a number of different elements to establish the country’s leading recruitment firms. The criteria for the 2022 list include $100 million or more in revenue, as well as “market share, largest skill segments supplied, and other details” related to clinical staffing and recruitment, as the organization stated in its announcement of the updated 2022 list.
Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we’re proud that we’ve made the list yet again, and that isn’t just because it’s a testament to our success, the hard work of our amazing team of leaders, and our top-notch recruiters. We’re also excited about this latest distinction because it demonstrates our commitment to the healthcare employers we work so hard to serve, day in and day out, year after year.
Landing on the largest staffing firms for the third straight year doesn’t just underline that commitment, but shows that we’ve been successful in keeping it. At a time when shortages are rampant and employers may be scrambling to find new workforce solutions, our presence on the 2022 SIA list is a powerful validation that we’re a partner they can trust to help guide them into an uncertain future.
Why the SIA’s List of Largest Staffing Firms Matters in 2022
There’s never been a moment when healthcare staffing has been so important. With a nationwide shortage of nurses and other clinical professionals affecting facilities of all types, partnering with a dedicated staffing and recruitment partner can prove to be beneficial for clinical employers and/or workplace managers.
Those benefits have only become clearer during the pandemic. According to data cited by the American Hospital Association (AHA), turnover increased from 18% to 30% during the pandemic, especially for ICU and acute care departments. Many employers have relied on travel nurses and other contingency staff to fill those open positions and maintain patient care during these difficult times.
With that in mind, it’s especially impactful to be named among the largest staffing firms serving the nation’s healthcare employers. From hospitals and health centers to clinics, SNFs and LTACs, schools and rehab facilities and so much more, we know that our ability to successfully serve a wide range of facilities is a huge reason why we’re one of America’s leading providers of healthcare workforce solutions.
The SIA ranking comes on the heels of other exciting milestones. Last year, we were listed among the largest staffing firms for healthcare as well as the largest travel nurse staffing and per diem nurse staffing firms. We’ve also been certified as a Great Place to Work® for five years in a row, and recently received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification.
