Happy National Hospital Week 2022 from CareerStaff! Please join us in celebrating and recognizing the women and men who work in America’s hospitals and health systems and the essential role they play in our communities.

From May 8 to 14, the United States pays tribute to the many hospital teams working hard to keep patients and communities healthy. Thank you to all the hospitals and everyone working in them, from nurses and doctors to the administrators and leaders who keep everything running.

National Hospital Week (NWH) overlaps with Nurses Week, which provides an extra opportunity to highlight America’s healthcare workers and the vital role they play in our society.

National Hospital Week 2022 “showcases the pride and resiliency of front line workers in America’s hospitals and health systems” by following the theme, We Are Health Care which “recognizes the women and men who work in America’s hospitals and health systems and the vital role they play in our society” according to the announcement from the American Hospital Association (AHA).

“Hospitals find innovative ways to support the needs of patients and the community; this is especially important during surges of COVID-19. During National Hospital Week and all weeks, we recognize the 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, and others who provide care to their community,” the AHA announcement adds.

This year’s theme – We Are Health Care – is focused on showcasing the pride and resiliency of America’s front-line workers in hospitals and healthcare systems. The AHA has created a series of videos sharing stories and testimonials of health care workers’ perspectives from the pandemic. Show your support to the nation’s hospitals and one another, via a unique digital campaign from the AHA (who encourages everyone to use #HospitalWeek in posts).

The AHA has released resources for hospitals and participants to create unique ways of showing support. Please join us on social media and join the #HospitalWeek conversation! One of the many innovative ways hospitals work to continue to provide support for patients and communities is by partnering with a healthcare staffing agency. This can benefit hospitals and facilities in many ways. From offering new levels of flexibility and scalability to providing a nationwide roster of top clinical talent, healthcare staffing agencies can help you find the best possible candidates in a short amount of time so you can continue to provide quality patient care and meet operational goals.

Many organizations are leveraging travel nurses and allied clinicians like never before. Partnering with a contingency staffing provider means having access to not just travel workers but also a whole variety of per-diem nurses, interim staff leaders, part-time clinicians, and more, throughout the entire year. It’s important to find a partner who’s dedicated to ensuring that all of these details are met — and who has the nationwide network of administrative centers, personnel, and resources to get the job done.
