Holiday Inspiration from CareerStaff Professionals, in Their Own Words
We meet a lot of nurses and clinical workers in our line of work. Over the years, some of them have been kind enough to share their thoughts on working with CareerStaff, and in the healthcare industry in general. It’s important to get support from your fellow workers during the holidays — and for those who feel they might need some, we offer these wise words from CareerStaff workers.
“What I find most inspirational about health care is the art of healing,” said Keisha, one of the CareerStaff Clinicians of the Month for June 2021. “Healing a patient doesn’t have to be a hands-on activity, but showing love and support to a patient are some of the necessary tools to heal properly.”
“The biggest inspiration for me is the caring spirit of my fellow workers,” said Brian, a registered nurse and a February 2021 CareerStaff Clinician of the Month.
“They truly are the lifeblood of who we are as team. Just when I think I am done with the daily grind, their unwavering spirit renews me and keeps me going.”
“I’d have to say, the most inspirational part about working in healthcare is the people,” agreed Steven, a respiratory therapist and one of the CareerStaff Clinicians of the Month for October 2021.
“The medical staff truly care about the patients,” he added. “Sometimes that isn’t always seen by the public. The public really doesn’t see what healthcare staff go through during a shift and the toll it takes sometimes on us both physically and emotionally. And yet we continue to do it shift after shift. Always with the hopes of making that patient’s life better.”

“I love that this career involves compassion,” said Alyssa, a CareerStaff Clinician of the Month for March 2022. “I was made to help others. I love that I have the opportunity to create such positive impacts in the life of many.”
“I find helping my fellow man truly is what inspires me about working in healthcare,” said Alexandra, a licensed practical nurse and one of the CareerStaff Unlimited Clinicians of the Month for July 2020.
“I provide the best care I can to all patients regardless of race, creed, or orientation,” she added. “I have learned so much from my patients, as well. Even when I get off work, and I’m tired and my feet hurt, I feel like I have contributed to the betterment of humankind.”
“There are endless possibilities within the healthcare profession that makes it inspirational,” said Jeremy, an LPN and one of the CareerStaff Clinicians of the Month for April 2022. “Working in the healthcare industry allows one to nurture their desire to help others while earning a living.”
“The most inspirational thing about working in healthcare is seeing someone get better,” said Marisa, nurse and a CareerStaff Clinician of the Month for December 2021. “Living life again, smiling, getting their children back.”
