Happy holidays and season’s greetings from everyone here at CareerStaff Unlimited! We want to take a moment to say thanks and extend our warmest holiday wishes to every single member of our amazing network of nurses, clinicians, recruiters, and healthcare employers — and to everyone else who’s working hard to help provide care during this busy holiday season, too. You are appreciated!
What ‘Happy Holidays’ Means for the CareerStaff Team
As the leading provider of healthcare recruiting services (and much more), we know the value of appreciation for hard work. Whether it’s showing gratitude to essential workers or letting clinical managers know how much their extra time is valued, appreciation helps provide us all with the motivation we need to do the best job we can.
From the recruiters in our headquarters and throughout our many regional offices, to the nurses and clinicians working on the floor and in the command center, to the employers who bring everyone together, every role is essential to the CareerStaff care continuum. And, important as these jobs are at all times, they’re even more impactful during the busy holiday season.
In healthcare, of course, the holidays bring unique challenges as well as rare opportunities to be grateful. And we know how important it is to keep a positive outlook during this busy time. That’s one of the reasons why we’ve worked to build a great corporate culture. And we’re especially proud that, as a result, everyone on the CareerStaff team knows they can depend on one another.
Case in point: As a CareerStaff Technical Training Manager and one of our Q2 2023 Core Value Awards winners, Kathryne L. understands the value of communication and access. “One of my favorite parts about CareerStaff is that I can collaborate with people throughout the company,” she told us.
“I love collaborating and working with my director and working with other managers on big company projects,” she told us. “The collaboration piece is usually missing in a lot of companies, but not CareerStaff!”
Looking Back at Another Great Year with CareerStaff
Of course, we have more to be thankful for than the many amazing professionals in the CareerStaff family. Just like great clinicians who never finish developing their skills, we know how important it is to improve each year. And to that end, 2023 has been one of our best ever, filled with milestones, awards, and other accomplishments.
For instance, the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care™ list once again included us among its members in 2023. We also celebrated our fourth straight year on the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) Largest U.S. Healthcare Staffing Firms list. And we renewed our status as a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company.
“What I love most about working for CareerStaff is the company culture of teamwork and the rewarding job we do placing nurses where they are needed most,” as Senior Healthcare Recruiter Sandra S. described her “great place to work” experience. Other employees also raved about how the welcoming, fair, and caring nature of the CareerStaff culture.

Comments like Sandra’s highlight the importance of teamwork, communications and community to our success. And speaking of community, chances are good that you’ve encountered a CareerStaff team member carrying out that philosophy in one of our many appearances at conferences all around the country over the past year.
In 2023 alone we’ve attended events like the AHCA/NCAL 74th Convention & Expo and a number of LeadingAge conferences. And we also joined regional events, like the annual convention from the Michigan Chapter of The National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (MI-NADONA), a leading voice for nurse leaders and educational providers in post-acute and long-term care.
We attend these events because we know they’ll give us the chance to share our passion and commitment to excellence in healthcare staffing. As industry leaders, we know it’s our duty to share, leverage and learn the latest breakthroughs and best practices. And we’re proud to have the support and input of our community as we do so.
