CareerStaff joyfully honors kindness and colleagues who elevate our positive culture. In the spirit of thanks, five team members shared the impact of acts of kindness, highlighting inspiring individuals who’ve made a mark on them at CareerStaff and in their daily lives.
Employee Spotlight: Juliana Rocha
Managed Services (MSP)
Q: Who is someone at CareerStaff you’re thankful for or has shown you kindness?
My entire Managed Services team (Jenelle, Christine, Claire, and Nicole) – I recently went through some big life changes and felt comfortable enough to open up to them. They were so kind & supportive and gave me the most beautiful words of advice!
I cannot thank them enough for being amazing women and absolutely love working with them every day.
Q: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, describe a time where someone showed you acts of kindness.
A time where someone had shown me kindness was when I was having a bad day and a stranger randomly “paid it forward” at Starbucks and paid for my order. That little gesture made my day better, so now I pay it forward whenever I can. You never know whose day you can make a little better.
Q: Who are you thankful for and is the kindest person you know in your life?
The kindest person in my life, right now, would be my aunt. She is my biggest supporter and is *always* there for me whenever I need someone. Love her forever and ever!

Nicole Boesch, thank you for being a constant beacon leading the way for our team.
Gary Lorenzen, thank you for always being ready for an impromptu call to discuss plans of action. I also enjoy Zoom calls disguised as coffee/tea breaks to make the tasks at hand even more enjoyable.
Q: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, describe a time where someone showed you acts of kindness.
When I was New to Albuquerque, a former co-worker went above and beyond my first holiday away from Texas. She ensured my relocated family was surrounded by caring and loving people.
Her family became my “surrogate” family and to this day, 33+ years later, we all still consider each other family.
Q: Who are you thankful for and is the kindest person you know in your life?
My mom!
Employee Spotlight: Bailey Montoya
Finance/Payroll
Q: Who is someone at CareerStaff you’re thankful for or has shown you kindness?
Michele Montiel and Jennifer Estrada! Michele always explains things in a way I understand, she is smart, kind – and hilarious! Jennifer is knowledgeable, always helps us through our many technology “pickles,” and is happy to do so.
Q: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, describe a time where someone showed you acts of kindness.
I didn’t learn to ride a bike until I was an adult. I am still not very good, but I’m improving! My uncle helped me learn the basics as a grown woman like you would for a toddler. He was patient and didn’t laugh at my many misses when I was learning.
Q: Who are you thankful for and is the kindest person you know in your life?
My mom, hands down. She is altruistic, justice-minded, courteous, smart, sassy, kind, empathetic and makes everyone she talks to feel seen and heard. She’s the BEST.

Everyone on my Training & Development team has shown me kindness in so many ways, shapes, and forms!
Q: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, describe a time where someone showed you acts of kindness.
In 2017 I was going through one of the hardest times in my life, being a new mom and not having any family nearby. My best friend Bethany became a huge pillar of support for me and has shown me so much kindness!
It reminded me how simple acts of kindness can boost your excitement and affect your outlook, even in difficult times.
Q: Who are you thankful for and is the kindest person you know in your life?
I’m fortunate to have compassionate and kind people around me, but the two that stand out to me the most are my best friends Bethany and Ben.

Angela Brusak is constantly kind and thinking of others! Also, Kim Daniel-Hopkins has been so kind/understanding and just wants the best for our team.
Q: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, describe a time where someone showed you acts of kindness.
Back when I was a server, I was (still am) clumsy, and spilled/dropped a lot of things. Every time I did, my team and the customers showed me so much kindness and grace. It proved to me that attitudes in a workplace can make or break it.
Q: Who are you thankful for and is the kindest person you know in your life?
My husband! His actions and mindset have inspired me to be more kind/thoughtful.
